A medium-to full-bodied red with currant, coffee and chocolate character, medium firm tannins and a flavorful finish. Better after 2021.
Pure Merlot, hand-picked and vinified with care in the beautiful cellar of Castagneto Carducci. A wine as simple in concept as it is interesting in potential. Its creators assure that it is one of those reds destined to improve for a long time in the cellar. A wine that is already good today but that can easily aim for greater complexity if left to wait 10 or 15 years. The color is an intense and impenetrable ruby red. A wine that immediately shows what it is made of and that it does not fear anyone's judgement. On the nose it stands out for the freshness of the aromas that range from ripe, juicy red fruit to warmer, more intriguing notes of sweet spices and roasting.
