    • Sensations Tenuta Perano Chianti Classico has a beautiful clear ruby red colour. The bouquet is pleasantly fruity with notes reminiscent of wild berries, raspberries, blackberries and myrtle, but there is also a delicate hint of sour cherry. Elegant floral notes emerge after a while, accompanied by spicy hints of cloves and black pepper. The tannins are dense yet caressing, with a splendid balance between taste and aroma. An extremely balanced and delicate wine, characterised by wonderful freshness and flavour.
    • Vinification Once harvested by hand, the grapes were vinified in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Maceration on the skins with careful pumping over and stirring allowed for the perfect extraction of polyphenolic substances, giving the wine the right colour intensity and typical structure. The wine was then aged partly in wood, delicately enriching the bouquet with tertiary aromas. Only after a further period in the bottle was Tenuta Perano ready to make its entrance onto the scene.

    • Chianti Classico Tenuta Perano is produced in the hills of Gaiole in Chianti, from vineyards located 500 metres above sea level. The south-south-west exposure and, above all, the amphitheatre shape of the vineyards favour insolation and concentrate heat. The combination of altitude, exposure, configuration and slope of the vineyards represent an extraordinary qualitative uniqueness, giving the wines a bright purple colour, intense fruity aromas and great tannic structure, permeated with an elegant vibration.

      The Perano Estate is located in the heart of Chianti Classico in the municipality of Gaiole, in an exceptional location in terms of soil and climate, unique in terms of its quality. The vineyards are located 500 metres above sea level, almost the limit for red varieties and in particular for Sangiovese, which ripens late. The steep slopes are ideal for air circulation.
