    • Sensations Champagne colour with bright and brilliant reflections. Extremely fine and regular effervescence. Bouquet of yellow fruits (mirabelle plum, nectarine) and candied citrus fruits (lemon) complemented by notes of wood (toasted, vanilla) from 24% of wines vinified in our French oak barrels. The charm of fine reduction notes (shellfish, toasting and iodine) emerges, giving a style strongly chiselled by Chardonnay. Fruity (peach) and floral (pollen) palate, characterised by lightness and delicacy.
    • Vinification In order to take the quality of the maison's multi-vintage blends even further and bring greater transparency to the blends, Louis Roederer has embarked on a new approach with the creation of Collection. Made from grapes sourced equally from the ‘La Rivière’, ‘La Montagne’ and ‘La Côte’ vineyards, Collection is composed of a base vintage, reserve wines aged in wood and wines from the perpetual reserve started in 2012, which follows the principles of solera. A supply from a rigorous selection of partner winegrowers' plots completes the maison's grapes. Each edition of Collection is thus unique and yet always representative of Roederer's identity and know-how. 246 for the maison's 246th blend since its creation. Louis Roederer's Collection 245 is a cuvée made from the 2021 vintage, to which 10% of reserve wines aged in wood (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017) and 35% perpetual reserve (2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020). Vinification and ageing: 30% of the blend undergoes malolactic fermentation. The dosage of this Brut champagne is 7g/litre.

    • Louis Roederer's 2021 vintage collection 246 was born in a year that tested even the most experienced vineyards: minimal yields, slow ripening, and a climate that demanded absolute precision. It was precisely these challenges that gave rise to a cuvée that speaks of resilience and craftsmanship. Imagine three souls coming together: the luminous freshness of Chardonnay, the deep structure of Pinot Noir and the vibrant touch of Meunier. Around them, the hand of the Maison weaves time into the blend: the Perpetual Reserve (2012-2020) and wines aged in oak, an aromatic heritage that accompanies and amplifies the 2021 vintage. A golden light sparkles in the glass. The perlage is fine, almost impalpable. The nose reveals ripe yellow fruits, candied citrus fruits, hints of toasted wood and a subtle vanilla, like a barely perceptible signature. The palate is like a walk on chalky ground: fresh, salty, precise. The effervescence is creamy, the texture velvety, the finish long and subtly smoky. A sensation of rare balance, like a story that ends with the right word at the right moment. The company's flagship wine is undoubtedly the iconic Cristal, although enthusiasts around the world recognise that all the maison's wines have a style that is difficult to match.
