In the heart of Montalcino, among woods and hills where time passes slowly, Troncone is born, a pure Sangiovese that expresses the authentic soul of Tuscany. The vineyards, cultivated using organic methods, have their roots in different soils, sandstone, limestone, clay and gravel, giving the wine complexity and unique character. Spontaneously fermented in concrete tanks and aged in large oak barrels, Troncone reveals a bright ruby red colour and an intense bouquet of cherry, red currant, strawberry and aromatic herbs, rounded off with a mineral touch. On the palate, it is soft, enveloping and well-balanced, with integrated tannins and an elegant, fresh finish. A versatile and flavourful wine, it pairs naturally with savoury first courses, red meats or aged cheeses.
