The 2017 Etna Bianco Cavanera Ripa di Scorciavacca is mildly floral with white rose and honeysuckle that cede to citrus, white grapefruit and honey. Following that pretty floral bouquet, the mouthfeel is lean and snappy, making this a perfect seafood white.
A very subtly played style of Etna Bianco, this opens with candied citrus, juniper berries, flint and green apples. Very precise and cutting on the palate, which is medium in body and replete with acidity. Minerally and long on the finish. Drink now.
The Cavanera Etnea Estate is one of the latest acquisitions of the Firriato company in Trapani.
