The label reads Haut-Médoc AOP. This is a clear indication for experts. It is, in fact, a wine produced in the most interesting region of the Bordeaux area, where Cabernet Sauvignon gives its best. Here the vineyards grow thanks to a very particular microclimate created by the influence of the Atlantic Ocean, not too far away, but above all thanks to the great river that flows placidly and mitigates the excessive temperatures. Château Lestage Simon undergoes traditional processing, with aging in small oak barrels. In the glass it is a beautiful deep ruby red colour. The nose is complex and fruity, with hints of spice that make it even more interesting. In the mouth it is full-bodied, balanced and persistent with hints of blackberry jam and liquorice.
