Quattro Vicariati Rosso 2016 Trentino Superiore DOC: another gem from Cavit. It takes its name from the area of the Quattro Vicariati, between Ala, Avio, Brentonico and Mori, in Vallegarina. From the mountains it inherits character and strength, from the skills of Cavit's Wine Makers’ grace and harmony. Intense ruby red in colour. The nose offers a full and inspired bouquet, with balsamic notes and echoes of blackberry and tobacco. Full and balanced taste, with hints of green pepper and small ripe red fruits. Smooth, savoury, with soft noble tannins and a long, enveloping spice finish. Grilled meat, first courses with tasty sauces and mature cheeses are the best accompaniments. A structured red, very pleasant to share.
