There’s a bright and fragrant edge to the nose of this youthful Barolo, which delivers an array of freshly cut strawberry aromas, leading to a palate that has cherry liqueur flavors and a firm, juicy finish. Drink or hold.

We present a wine that warms not only the palate, but also the heart of many fans: Barolo del Comune di Serralunga d'Alba DOCG, from Azienda Agricola Gabutti Boasso. A nectar that embodies all the classicism of the appellation that accompanies it, and that continues to win us over with the 2015 vintage.
Serralunga is one of the eleven municipalities in Piedmont where Barolo is produced; in particular, this cru is one of the most valued and renowned for the production of classic Barolo, characterized by a soft colour and an imposing tannic texture. A perfect example of these characteristics is Barolo DOCG 2015: it has a classic garnet colour and the nose is of ethereal notes, with hints that remind us of incense and menthol. The Boasso family has been producing wine since 1970: the 7 hectares of vineyards are all located in the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba (CN), in the subzones of Gabutti, Meriame and Margheria. About 30,000 bottles are produced per year, and the protagonist is the Nebbiolo from Barolo, interpreted in the three versions Gabutti, Margheria and Serralunga, all characterized by a distinctly traditional style.
