Fresh and savoury, it smells of spices, liquorice, black pepper and Mediterranean scrub. This is Ruggiero, Sicilia DOC proposed by Assuli and produced with pure Syrah grapes. A beautiful, rich and intense rewarding red. An ideal wine to accompany tasty dishes, especially grilled meat. Grapes harvested when fully ripe and carefully processed by the winery's oenologists. After vinification and malolactic fermentation, the wine matures in steel tanks for a period of 3 to 4 months and then in the bottle before finally being put on the market. Intense ruby red with violet hues, the nose reveals typical aromas of spices, from liquorice to black pepper. Then red fruit and Mediterranean scrub. In the mouth it is savoury and fresh. The correspondence with what was previously perceived is excellent. In particular, the spiciness is particularly persistent and pleasant.
