    • L’Orée du Sabia, Vendée, Brem-sur-Mer

"à L’Orée" Blanc Val de Loire Vendée 2024
    • Val de Loire Blanc Vendée “À l’Orée” from L'Orée du Sabia is produced in Brem-sur-Mer, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the vineyards of the Loire Valley. Here the sea breeze and sandy, schist-rich soils shape a white wine with a bright and contemporary character. It is a wine that speaks of the sea even before it speaks of technique. The grapes ripen slowly, preserving freshness and aromatic precision. In the vineyard the work respects natural balance, while in the cellar the approach remains clean and minimal. In the glass it opens with fresh citrus notes, crisp apple and delicate floral hints. The palate is lively, with a savoury tension that recalls the salty ocean air. It is a direct, terroir-driven white wine, made for the table and for convivial moments. It does not aim for opulence, but for balance and drinkability. An authentic expression of the Atlantic Loire, modern and vibrant, capable of surprising with its energy and identity.

In the heart of the Fiefs Vendéens, between salt marshes, pine forests and the Atlantic Ocean, L’Orée du Sabia was born from a bold vision: to craft wines that speak of the sea, the wind and the land. Founded by Bastien Mousset, a winemaker with experience in Saumur, Chinon and overseas, the estate cultivates its vines using organic and biodynamic methods to fully express the unique terroir of sand, quartz and schist. Here white, red, rosé and sparkling wines are produced, capturing freshness, fruit and minerality with a modern and natural approach. The grape varieties range from Pinot Noir and Négrette to Chenin and Chardonnay, all managed with deep respect for nature and biodiversity. L’Orée du Sabia is more than wine: it is an oceanic experience in the glass, where every bottle tells the story of the dialogue between vineyard and sea breeze. Easy to drink yet complex to appreciate, it is the perfect choice for those who love fresh, terroir-driven wines without artifice. An invitation to discover the most vibrant and unspoilt side of the Loire, bottle after bottle.
