"Pounamu" Sauvignon Blanc 2022

Say Sauvignon Blanc and you think of New Zealand. And in particular to the successful Marlborough region in the northernmost part of the South Island. Not only is this the largest and most iconic wine region in New Zealand, but it is also a magical place where very special soil and climate conditions allow the grapes to reach perfect ripeness, developing intense aromas and flavours. A fine example is this Pounamu, proposed by Vinultra. It is a white wine made by the winery's oenologist, Eveline Fraser, who has already demonstrated a great affinity with the noble aromatic grape variety of French origin by working for the Cloudy Bay winery, considered by many to be an absolute reference point for the type.
