"Vigna Claudia" Colli Romagna Centrale DOC

Vigna Claudia is an intriguing red wine with a strongly international character. It is, in fact, a classic Bordeaux blend, obtained, however, from vineyards strictly sapling-trained in high-density on the hills of Romagna. 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, the grapes are harvested and vinified separately in order to enhance their special characteristics. Fermentation and maceration take place in steel vats at a controlled temperature. This is followed by malolactic conversion, necessary to dilute part of the natural acidity of the wine obtained and to ensure it lasts longer. In the glass it has a beautiful deep, particularly deep, ruby red colour. The nose reveals a wide bouquet of scents ranging from spices to red fruit. In the mouth it is round, of considerable strength with tannins that give a strong character. Perfectly balanced, this is a wine that should be served alongside a nice grilled meat or a tasty roast beef.
