With its bulging bottle it is hard not to notice this interesting white wine from Tinazzi. This is a Custoza DOP, a wine from Lake Garda, produced from Garganega and Trebbiano grapes, both 40%, with 20% Cortese. A wine made to be above all pleasant and immediate. One of those glasses that can easily be offered as an aperitif, before sitting at the table, certain that all the guests will decide to continue with the same wine during the meal. After all, this is a wine that always knows how to give satisfaction on the table, especially if the menu includes some fish dishes, possibly even lake fish, for those who love territorial combinations. Straw yellow colour with greenish reflections, the nose is intense and fruity, with a pleasant hint of aroma to make it even more intriguing. In the mouth it is rich, harmonious and pleasantly fresh thanks to its natural acidity and excellent sapidity.

And this saying applies perfectly to the Tinazzi family since, in the Veronese tradition, this term was used to indicate the containers in which the grapes were left to ferment in order to make wine. The history of this fine family business begins in the 1960s. We are on the shores of Lake Garda. Here, in Cavaion Veronese to be precise, Eugenio Tinazzi founded his small winery to produce and sell the wines of the area. With the arrival of his still young son Gian Andrea in the company, Tinazzi began a tumultuous path of growth that led the small Veneto-based company to expand in the main areas of Valpolicella first of all, and then to take the leap and buy new estates in Puglia. Today, Francesca and Giorgio, the third generation, have joined Gian Andrea in the family business. There are still many goals to be achieved and markets to be conquered.
