Selva della Tesa 2019 from Ca' del Bosco represents excellence in the production of Chardonnay, the result of a viticultural season with a unique character. The 2019 vintage was marked by a mild winter with little rainfall, anticipating spring and leading to a marked change in climate with significant rainfall until mid-May, negatively affecting flowering. These conditions generated smaller, scattered bunches, with a yield per hectare limited to 6,000 kg of grapes. The dry weather in June, one of the driest in the last twenty years, followed by a saving August with opportune rainfall, allowed the grapes to ripen well, with harvesting beginning on 27 August. This vintage stands out for its limited production but high quality, with a wine yield of 57%, a symbol of Ca' del Bosco's commitment to the pursuit of perfection. Selva della Tesa 2019 is a testament to how climatic challenges can be transformed into opportunities to create wines of exceptional aromatic concentration and complexity, destined to captivate the most discerning connoisseurs and wine lovers.
