Made purely from grapes grown in the company's historic vineyards in Narni. Vinified in steel, this Umbrian has a fresh and easygoing character. In the glass it has a beautiful garnet red colour. The agricultural tradition of the Mazzocchi family has a long history and has been handed down from generation to generation. In 1919, the great-grandparents of the current owners left the valleys of the mountains of Stroncone, in the province of Terni, and moved to the hills of Calvi dell'Umbria. Here they found the ideal conditions to expand their farm. The grandfather, Torquato, then continued the work started by his parents and bought several small plots of land, expanding to the municipality of Narni, where the company is now based. In 1974, new vineyards were created where Ciliegiolo, Merlot, Malvasia and Vermentino were cultivated, to which Chardonnay and Cabernet were added over time. Today the company can count on about 10.5 hectares of vineyards out of a total of 70 and the current owners were among the founders of the Ciliegiolo di Narni IGT Association, to promote this wine that is considered the best ambassador of its territory.
