    "Adeni" Perricone Sicilia DOC
  • An ancient and rediscovered autochthonous vine, which Orestiadi manages to exploit to the fullest. Deep purple in colour, the nose of Perricone Orestiadi has an incredible aromatic bouquet: notes of cooked fruit and dried violets, black pepper and Mediterranean spices. The taste is dry and elegant, the body medium and good structure, the finish long. A great wine, just waiting to be discovered!

Tenute Orestiadi is a project that was created at the instigation of the Orestiadi Foundation, based in Gibellina (TP) in the characteristic Baglio di Stefano, rebuilt after the terrible earthquake of 1968. The name is inspired by Aeschylus, who wrote and staged the myth of Orestes and the Orestiadi more than 2000 years ago in these very lands. The aim is to promote and preserve the Mediterranean artistic and cultural heritage. Tenute Orestiadi moves in this direction by enhancing one of the most ancient traditions of Sicily, winemaking. Grillo, Catarratto and Inzolia are cultivated as white grapes; Nero d'Avola, Syrah, Nerello Mascalese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot as dark grapes, all vinified in purity with the exception of Ludovico, a blend of Nero d'Avola and Cabernet Sauvignon aged in wood.
