    "Pantera" Rosso Emilia IGT 2023
    • Pantera is one of those wines that perfectly expresses the boldest soul of the Colli Piacentini. Created in the late 1990s as a revolutionary project by Cantine Luretta, it combines historic local grape varieties such as Barbera and Croatina with the international elegance of Cabernet Sauvignon, in a balance built over time and guarded like a family secret. The organic grapes grow among calcareous marl and clay-silty soils around the Castle of Momeliano, where strong temperature variations give concentration, freshness and aromatic depth. After a long fermentation, the wine ages for nine months in barriques, gaining structure, softness and complexity. In the glass it appears intense and seductive, with aromas of ripe cherry, sour cherry, black pepper, cinnamon and sweet spices. The palate is enveloping, deep and dynamic, supported by velvety tannins and a surprising mineral streak that accompanies the long and persistent finish. It is a convivial yet ambitious red wine, capable of accompanying braised dishes, red meats and generous shared tables with personality and style.
In the most elegant heart of the Colli Piacentini, among castles, hillside vineyards and ancient woods, Cantine Luretta has built a project that combines Italian soul with an international vision. Born among the hills of Val Luretta, the winery chose a clear path from the very beginning: to produce wines of character, depth and strong territorial identity, with great attention to the vineyard and uncompromising quality. The calcareous soils, strong temperature variations and low yields give rise to refined, intense and surprisingly long-lived wines. From Pinot Noir to Metodo Classico sparkling wines, through to great structured reds, each label tells a philosophy made of balance, precision and authenticity. A winery that has helped place the Colli Piacentini among the most interesting emerging wine territories in Italy.
