The younger brother of the noble Brunello. Moreover, as the producer specifies, it derives precisely from the vinification of the same grapes, with the same yields and the same characteristics. What changes, of course, is the period of maturation that in this case is not as long as that of its older brother but is "limited" to about 18 months. Short, then, but certainly not very short. In the glass it has a beautiful ruby red colour, still furrowed by violet reflections, a symptom of freshness. The nose is surprising for the finesse of its aromas, ranging from ripe red fruit, a subtle hint of underbrush to a pleasant sweet spice. In the mouth, then, it reveals the same extraordinary youthful character. The red fruit notes return and integrate perfectly with the tannins, which are present but absolutely ripe. The finish is long. If there is a steak cooking on the grill, the only wine to have on the table is this one.
