  • Sensations A color that does not go unnoticed and the slow movement in the glass betray structure and origin, then the opening on citrus notes, exotic fruit, white flowers and mineral notes reveal the identity of this southern white, a white with great structure and unusual ability to age over time. The nose has hints of broom that blend with a fruitiness reminiscent of pear. In the mouth it is soft with a perfect balance between freshness and acidity. A white with warm Mediterranean tones whose floral hints of maquis blend with a sweet and persuasive fruitiness. Hints of minerality make it even more stimulating to drink. It pairs well with grilled fish, more elaborate fish preparations, as well as with medium-aged cheeses and white meats. Serving temperature 8-10 °C
  • Vinification Grapes are harvested by hand in mid/late October. Promptly crushed and pressed in a single step. This is followed by static decantation at low temperature, which precedes, after a first racking, slow vinification at controlled temperature. After a second sfecciamento at the end of fermentation, this is followed by a batonage in tank for three months and a subsequent stationing on the same fine lees for another three months.

    "Zaleuco" Bianco Calabria Mantonico IGT 2020
  • It is called Zaleuco and is a very interesting wine produced in the middle Savuto Valley in Calabria. A single-varietal white, it is made from 100 percent Mantonico grapes, an indigenous variety of the region. Harvested by hand in late October, careful selection is made of the best grapes, which are then crushed and destemmed, before undergoing static decantation at a low temperature. Slow vinification at a controlled temperature, at the end of fermentation, the wine remains in tanks with its yeasts for about three months. The result is a beautiful wine characterized by an intense color with golden hues and beautiful density. On the nose, the bouquet opens with hints of citrus, exotic fruit, white flowers and mineral notes. In the mouth, on the other hand, it is structured and rich, with remarkable smoothness and discreet freshness. The finish is persistent and aromatic, with a pleasant savory sensation. Thanks to its fine structure and balanced acidity, Zaleuco pairs well with grilled meats and more elaborate fish preparations. However, it is also excellent with medium-aged cheeses and white meats.

    Founded in 2006, Le Moire is a winery with an exclusive Calabrian winemaking vocation, whose mission is to redeem the territory.
