Great pleasantness is guaranteed by this international red wine. Produced from pure Merlot grapes, it is bottled without filtration to preserve its integrity. The grapes, which come from the estate vineyards, are hand-picked when fully ripe. Quickly brought to the cellar, they are processed within a few hours. Vinification begins with a long maceration phase that lasts about 2 weeks. In this phase the slow transformation of the sugars into alcohol and the manual fulling operations allow the wine to reach the right colour. Then, after racking, maturation takes place partly in steel tanks and partly in small oak casks of 500 litres capacity, where malolactic fermentation also takes place. It takes between 14 and 16 months to reach the right degree of maturity. After bottling, it remains in the cellar for at least 4 months for a further period of refinement before being put on the market. It is the right red to propose when the menu is all about meat. Excellent, in particular, with roasts or grilled meats.
