"Ventorosa" Umbria Rosato IGT

Ventorosa, Umbria Rosato IGT by cantina Chiorri is the result of a simple white vinification of the region's noblest grape variety, Sagrantino. Traditionally worked in red, this vine is able to give life to wines with great personality, endowed with very evident tannin and an incredible capacity for ageing. In this case, however, Chiorri has decided to make the most of its great versatility, creating an extremely pleasant organic rosé. A wine characterised by an intense, brilliant pink colour, the most elegant notes of flowers and fruit dominate the nose. In particular, blackberry and violet are recognisable, with a slight hint of powdery fruit. In the mouth it is fresh, intense and mineral. A wine that is decidedly well-balanced in all its components, perfect for pairing with both white meats and intensely flavoured fish, such as a good smoked salmon. For risotto lovers, finally, the lovely natural freshness of this Umbrian rosé goes perfectly with the creaminess of the mantecatura.
