  • Sensations A lively, floral nose that heralds great finesse. The palate is very aromatic with exotic fruits and also vinous with a good minerality on the finish. Light and elegant bubbles.
  • Vinification A Crémant conceived and produced from a single dedicated parcel, where the stoneware finds chalk and tuff substrates. First fermentation in steel, second fermentation only with sugars from the grapes. Maturation on the lees between 15 and 24 months. Savoury backbone but also beautiful vinosity.

    Crémant de Loire Brut Nature 2021
  • We are in the Loire Valley, a land of fairytale castles and lush vineyards. Here lies Château de Bois-Brinçon, an estate that has been producing wines of the highest quality for generations, including this Crémant de Loire AOC Nature. An organic sparkling wine that encapsulates the freshness and liveliness of this magical land. The grapes come from the Anjou region, where the climate is temperate and the soil rich in chalk and tuff. Ideal conditions for growing Chenin Blanc and Pineau d'Aunis, vines capable of producing elegant and mineral wines. Fermentation in steel at a controlled temperature, the second fermentation takes place in the bottle, with no added sugar at disgorgement. Maturation on the lees lasts at least 15 months. In the glass this bubbly has a beautiful bright straw yellow colour, with a fine and persistent perlage. The nose reveals a floral and fruity bouquet, with notes of citrus, white peach and white flowers. In the mouth it is fresh and lively, with pleasant acidity and a mineral and persistent finish. Ideal as an aperitif, on the table it goes well with seafood, shellfish and fresh cheeses.

    Géraldine et Xavier Cailleau have been at the helm of Château de Bois-Brinçon since 1991. The winegrowing history began in 1219 and continued with mixed fortunes, even enriching grape production with that of apples. In 1990, Bois- Brinçon had 23 hectares of apple orchards and 22 hectares of vines. With the arrival of Xavier, everything changed: he started work on 8 hectares and began with an overall grassing of the vineyard, abandoning impactful agronomic practices. The forest biodiversity and the presence of animals in the vineyard (Higland Cattle) complete the picture in the balance and harmony of nature The choice to make wine by parcels signals the search for a profound identity in the wines produced, the litmus test of a place, Anjou, yet to be fully discovered in the different nuances it presents.
