"Rosae" Lacrima di Morro d'Alba DOC 2022

A wine of Marche tradition, Rosae is a pleasant Lacrima di Morro d'Alba DOC. A fresh, fragrant and highly drinkable wine. Produced in the vineyards of the hinterland of Ancona, the vines are rooted in medium-textured soils with a perfect southeast exposure. The traditional harvest takes place in September and October, when the Lacrima grapes have reached the right balance between sugar and acids. Vinification begins with a maceration phase that is not too long, followed by a temperature-controlled fermentation phase in steel tanks. At the end of the transformation, the wine remains in steel for the subsequent ageing phase lasting at least four months. Ruby red colour with violet hues, the nose is easy to distinguish intense aromas of roses and violets, with hints of wild berries. In the mouth it is elegant and typical, with sweet, well ripe tannins that contribute to its pleasantness. A simple and immediate red by nature, this Lacrima di Morro d'Alba accompanies light hors d'oeuvres and tomato-based first courses with simplicity. But also cured meats, white and red meats.
