There is no grape variety that can guarantee the same pleasant sensation of softness and roundness on the palate as a rich Merlot. We are in Trentino, where the winemakers of the historic Aldeno Winery cultivate their vineyards partly with the Guyot system and partly with the traditional Trentino pergola. An ancient and increasingly rare system that allows the harvesting of high quality grapes. Pure Merlot, expertly vinified in simple temperature-controlled stainless steel containers. Then, after racking, it is aged in small and large, different-sized wooden barrels, depending on the year.
