The effervescence is fine and elegant, creating a crown of persistent bubbles. On the nose: this wine opens with a rich and seductive bouquet. Scents of red fruits such as strawberries, raspberry and cherry emerge, accompanied by floral notes of rose and peony. Citrus nuances and a slight roastiness further enrich the olfactory profile, offering an intriguing complexity. Taste: Fresh and lively in the mouth. The acidity is well balanced, contributing to a pleasant and refreshing drink. Ripe red fruit flavours intertwine with notes of bread crust and a hint of spice, leading to a long and pleasantly persistent finish that leaves an elegant and harmonious memory.
  • Vinification The Cuvée Prestige Rosé comes from the separate vinification of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes. All the grapes, hand-picked in small crates, are sorted and chilled. Each bunch is selected by expert eyes and hands, and then benefits from an exclusive 'berry spa'. A special system washes and whirlpools the bunches, using three soaking tubs and a drying tunnel. The Pinot Noir grapes, once transported over the vat, are separated from the stems and the berries fall in, from above, by gravity. Maceration 'in pink' is carried out for 24-36 hours: just a few hours to 'seize the moment', that is, to obtain that particular and delicate shade of pink that distinguishes Franciacorta Rosé in the bottle. Then the must, separated from the skins, ferments in small barrels and steel vats at a controlled temperature. The Chardonnay grapes are vinified in the traditional way, with pressing of the whole bunches. The best fractions of must ferment in vats, separately. After 7 months of ageing, the 'magic rite' of creating the cuvée is performed by blending the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines. The cuvée thus obtained is bottled and matured on the lees in underground cellars, at a constant temperature of 12°C, for an average period of 30 months. Dégorgement takes place in the absence of oxygen, using a unique system, invented and patented by Ca' del Bosco. This avoids oxidative shocks, further additions of sulphites and makes our Franciacorta wines purer, more pleasant and longer-lived. Finally, each packaged bottle is uniquely marked to guarantee traceability.

Ca' del Bosco Franciacorta Extra Brut Rosé "Cuvée Prestige Edizione 46"
  • Ca' del Bosco's Cuvée Prestige Rosé comes from the separate vinification of 80 per cent Pinot Noir and 20 per cent Chardonnay grapes. All grapes are hand-picked in small crates, graded and chilled. Each bunch is selected by expert eyes and hands, and then benefits from the special bunch washing system developed by the Franciacorta winery. The Pinot Noir grapes, once transported over the vat, are separated from the stalks and the berries are dropped into them by gravity. Thus begins the 'pink' maceration phase lasting 24-36 hours, to obtain that particular shade of colour that distinguishes this Franciacorta DOCG. Then the must, separated from the skins, ferments in small barrels and steel vats at a controlled temperature. The Chardonnay grapes, on the other hand, are vinified in the traditional way, with pressing of the whole bunches and only the best fractions of must are then fermented in vats. After 7 months of ageing, the cuvée is created by blending the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines. This is bottled and matured on the lees, at a constant temperature of 12°C, for an average period of 30 months. Dégorgement takes place in the absence of oxygen, using a unique system, invented and patented by Ca' del Bosco. Write Ca' del Bosco and read Franciacorta. Because this sparkling wine house belongs, in the collective imagination, to the small circle of companies of excellence, capable of producing high level wines every year, a symbol of 'made in Italy' throughout the world. Its history, this not everyone knows, began in the mid-1960s, when Annamaria Clementi bought a small country house in Erbusco locally known as Ca' del bosc. A few years later, her son Maurizio, returning from a trip to Champagne, had the brilliant intuition to transform that small country home into one of the most advanced wineries in the area. Today Maurizio Zanella can count on a large estate of vineyards, spread over no less than 8 different communes in Franciacorta. The cellar, on the other hand, is modern and hyper-technological, with various works of art and sculpture on display among the fermenters and presses. Today, Ca' del Bosco sparkling wines are identified with that style and personality. Unique and exuberant wines, awarded by the most severe wine critics all over the world.
