Nuviana Vino Tinto

There's nothing secret about this wine. A straightforward and sincere Spanish red. A young wine, made to be drunk within a few years of its release of the market, when the fruit is still rich and the aromas recall the scents of the harvest. In this Bodega Nuviana red, the typical Spanish Tempranillo shares the stage with a nice percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon, about 35% of the total. No special refinement, no processing that could pollute the fragrance of freshly made wine. Thus one finds a cherry-red goblet, with only slight garnet highlights. The bouquet is particularly intense, reminiscent of red fruit, ripe and juicy, with just a hint of spice and toast. The same intriguing picture can be found on the palate, where red fruit alternates with hints of pipe tobacco and white pepper. Overall, this is a wine with a nice body. The balance is correct and decidedly persistent, thanks also to tannins that are more than perceptible.
