BERSANO VINI SRL, P.ZZA DANTE 21, 14049, NIZZA MONFERRATO (AT)
Among the rolling, sun-drenched hills of Monferrato, Ruchè is a precious secret, known and proudly guarded by local winemakers. Bersano's 4 Sorelle line interprets it with elegance, telling a story of family passion and connection to the land. The glass glows with a bright red colour with violet reflections, a prelude to a bouquet that envelops with scents of rose petals and delicate spicy notes. On the palate, softness and fragrance blend in perfect balance, supported by a pleasant fruity vein and a dry, clean finish that invites you to pour a second glass. Born from carefully tended vineyards in Castagnole Monferrato, after respectful vinification and a short ageing period, it expresses the freshness and immediacy that make this wine irresistible. Ideal with cold cuts, typical Piedmontese dishes, tasty first courses and light meats, it is also the perfect companion for barbecues and informal dinners with friends. A wine that wins you over with its authenticity, capable of transforming every moment into a memory to be shared.
More than a century has passed since the Bersano winery was founded. The exact date is 1907, as proudly recalled on the home page of the company's website. We are in Nizza Monferrato, the heart of the Barbera d'Asti district. The real turning point, however, came only a few years later, in 1935, when Arturo Bersano, a man of rare intelligence and culture, a lawyer by family pride and a winemaker by passion, took control of the winery, which until then had been a family business selling its wines only regionally. His work was inspired by the motto “if you want to drink well, buy a vineyard”. A philosophy that, as a true pioneer, he would follow throughout his life. Thus, over time, Bersano and, after him, the Massimelli and Soave families, owners of the winery, consolidated an impressive collection of farmhouses. Here, without forgetting the power of tradition, quality grapes are still produced today, from which the region's typical wines are made. Particular attention has always been paid to the wood used for ageing, a true company asset. The Bersano Cellars house large oak barrels and tonneaux where, thanks to constant temperature and humidity, the wines mature slowly for years. Today, Bersano is considered one of the most important wineries in Piedmont.
