Baudron, Bodegas y Viñedos, is a historic winery located in the heart of the province of Mendoza, one of Argentina's most renowned wine regions. Founded in 1940 by a family of immigrants with French and Italian origins, Baudron is still today a beautiful family business, as well as a centre of wine excellence. The Mendoza region, located at the foot of the Andes, is particularly favourable for vine cultivation. Thanks to its considerable altitude, ranging from 600 to 1,100 metres above sea level, and its dry continental climate, this region enjoys an ideal combination of sunshine, soil and natural irrigation. Here, the vines benefit from intense temperature variations between day and night, which promote slow and complete ripening of the grapes. At Baudron Bodegas y Viñedos, they have been able to take full advantage of these characteristics, cultivating in particular Malbec, the symbol par excellence of Argentine winemaking, Cabernet Sauvignon and Torrontés, an aromatic white grape variety that produces fresh wines with floral and tropical fruit aromas.
