  • Astorre Noti is a brand of Vecchia Cantina di Montepulciano that was born from the partnership between the oldest cooperative in Tuscany and Alma Wines. Tradition, modernity and sustainability for wines that represent the excellence of Tuscany. In this case we are dealing with an interesting Chianti Superiore DOCG, the result of a pure Sangiovese process. Vinification begins with soft pressing of the grapes followed by about 7 or 8 days of maceration and fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. A simple but at the same time traditional Chianti, characterised by a beautiful intense red colour. To the nose, it surprises with its fruity aroma, with crisp notes of strawberry and cherry. In the mouth, however, it reveals itself as a pleasantly savoury and round wine, with a fine tannic texture. It is the perfect wine for more than one occasion. It is excellent with hors d'oeuvres, especially the delicious ones based on cured meats, and goes well with all types of meat. The chef's advice, however, is to pair it with a nice dish of pasta with meat sauce.
