A sensory journey into the heart of the Chianti Colli Fiorentini, among sunny vineyards and rolling hills. This is the birthplace of a structured and elegant red wine from Azienda Agricola Lanciola. We are talking about Chianti Colli Fiorentini Riserva DOCG, a small Tuscan oenological jewel. It is produced from Sangiovese (95%) and Merlot (5%) grapes, a skilfully balanced blend that gives the wine structure, elegance and complexity. The grapes, hand-picked at the moment of perfect ripeness, are carefully selected to guarantee the highest quality of the finished product. In the cellar, processing follows a traditional method, ideal for enhancing the characteristics of the terroir and the grape variety. After manual harvesting and destemming, the grapes are fermented at a controlled temperature in steel tanks. The wine then rests for about 6 months in traditional 2500 litre oak barrels, developing aromatic complexity and elegant character. Ruby red in colour, with garnet tones, the nose reveals a broad and complex bouquet, with notes of red fruit, damp earth, chocolate, spices and leather. On the palate, this Chianti Colli Fiorentini Riserva reveals a medium structure, with well-developed tannins and crisp acidity that lends freshness. The finish is long and persistent, with mineral and spicy hints that invite you to take another sip. A wine for the whole meal, it accompanies typical Tuscan dishes. Excellent with grilled or stewed red meats, mature cheeses and typical cured meats.
