Prosecco Treviso DOC Frizzante Spago

Lovers of traditional wines, step forward. What La Tordera offers here, in fact, is a wine that belongs to the history of the Prosecco area, a product that combines tradition and craftsmanship. The classic "spago" (string) closure, in fact, is one of the oldest systems of anchoring corks to wine bottles, a precursor of today's cage. A closure process made entirely by hand that is now proposed on a fun sparkling wine, Prosecco DOC Treviso. It is made by soft pressing and subsequent fermentation in an autoclave, which is stopped when the internal pressure reaches 2.5 bar. The result is a wine characterised by a beautiful straw yellow colour with greenish reflections and a barely present perlage. On the nose it is easy to distinguish the typical notes of rennet apple, pear and lime. On the palate, however, one discovers a pleasantly aromatic, fresh and slightly savoury wine. A harmonious wine, with a good balance between all its components, although slightly "unbalanced" towards softness. It is the aperitif wine par excellence. Ideal with the traditional cheese and sliced meats, it also goes well with light fish dishes.
