It is hard to imagine a more territorial red than this. We are talking about Rossojbleo, Terre Siciliane IGT proposed here by Gulfi. 100% Nero d'Avola, the grapes used to produce this Sicilian come from the province of Ragusa, the Chiaramonte Gulfi area and the Iblei Mountains. Here the soils are calcareous and clayey, allowing the grapes to reach perfect ripeness after mid-September, when they are harvested and vinified in red with a short maceration at a controlled temperature. Fresh and immediate, this red presents itself in the glass with a beautiful ruby colour with violet reflections. The nose reveals a typical perfume that immediately brings to mind sensations of ripe red fruit. In the mouth, however, it is pleasantly harmonious and fragrant. A super versatile wine that lends itself well to more than one occasion. Excellent with cold meats and cheeses as an aperitif, this Sicilian can satisfactorily accompany both first courses and main courses of meat, mainly white, or fish.
