  • Sensations A deep, impenetrable red wine with violet hues. The bouquet is fruity with a predominance of ripe red berries and spicy with delicate notes of cinnamon and vanilla. The palate is soft, round and harmonious. Suitable for accompanying red meats, cured meats and savoury first courses.
  • Vinification the grapes undergo cold pre-fermentation maceration at a temperature of between 0 and 4°C, lasting 4 to 6 days depending on the variety processed. This is followed by a temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation process at a maximum of 24°C, for 10-14 days, to allow the fruitiest components to express themselves to the full.

  • It was 1938 when Altero and Maria Franceschini, thinking about the future of their family, decided to start a small wine business. In 1978, all the commitment and tradition was inherited by their children, who set up Enogest: the passion is great and the tenacity is that of someone who was born and raised in the company. Successes were not long in coming: in 1982, in fact, the company's presence on the German market was consolidated for the first time (a winning choice, no doubt). What other goals will Blackbeard achieve in the coming years? Many, indeed many... We are certain of it!
