Welcome to Gevrey-Chambertin, in the heart of the prestigious Côte de Nuits, where Pinot Noir reaches heights of elegance and power that are difficult to match elsewhere. This is home to Domaine Philippe Livera, an estate that perfectly embodies the spirit of authentic Burgundy, shaped by discreetly handed-down family traditions and a visceral bond with the land. Although the Livera family has cultivated vines here for generations, the Domaine has undergone a remarkable qualitative transformation in recent years. Originally founded as Domaine des Tilleuls, the estate adopted its current name when Philippe Livera took the helm, now joined by his son Damien. It is Damien who has brought a fresh wave of energy and a modern vision, while remaining faithful to the classic values of the appellation. Under his leadership, the Domaine has increasingly bottled more of its own production rather than selling it to large négociants, with the aim of highlighting the unique identity of its vineyards. Today the estate counts around 8 hectares of vines, most of them located within the commune of Gevrey-Chambertin itself. Its true pride lies in the Vieilles Vignes – old vines, many of which are over 60 or even 70 years old.
