Not a simple passito, Ramandolo DOCG is a sweet wine obtained from pure Verduzzo grapes botrytized, i.e. affected by the noble rot that favours the dehydration of the grapes and the concentration of sugars and aromas. A wine in perfect symbiosis with its territory of origin, where unique and unrepeatable climatic conditions favor the appearance of this mold that for once is not fought but expected as a godsend. What you get is a precious wine also because it is produced in small quantities. A golden yellow nectar that acquires intensity with the passage of time. The nose is delicate, sweet and pleasant. A broad bouquet reminiscent of a lush bouquet of flowers to which are added the characteristic notes brought by the presence of 'mold. In the mouth it is rich, with an extraordinary balance. It is persistent and aromatic, with a delicate touch of acacia honey, sweet flowers and vanilla. As an end to a meal, it's a real treat. On its own, with a not-too-complex dessert or with a sliver of a fine blue cheese. Your choice.
