Château Talbot's Connétable Talbot is a fine discovery. Perfect for approaching the style and winemaking tradition of Saint-Julien in Bordeaux. With its 97.6 hectares of vineyards, the Château represents true excellence. Vineyards, with an average age of 43 years, stand on the edge of the Gironde estuary, sinking their roots into soils rich in alluvial gravel typical of the Médoc. Connétable Talbot's blend is composed of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. Harvesting is by hand, followed by meticulous grape selection to ensure maximum quality. Vinification in stainless steel vats, subsequent ageing takes place exclusively in barriques. In the glass, Connétable Talbot reveals all its personality. On the nose, floral and fruity aromas are enriched by subtle spicy and toasted notes. In the mouth, however, it stands out for its precise structure and freshness, with soft tannins and beautiful persistence.
