Bordeaux Lussac Saint-Emilion

A red wine that is pleasantly immediate, the result of careful selection from the best plots in the vineyard. This is how this Lussac (Saint-Emilion) is born offered by the small Château la Grande Clotte. 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, this red wine is not aged in wood but processed in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The result is a wine characterized by a beautiful bright garnet red color with purple reflections still visible. On the nose, it is dominated by red fruit, from strawberry to wild strawberries, then cherry and plum. All this is well supported by a slightly spicy hint that makes the wine more intriguing. On the palate it is soft, well balanced and persistent. Tannins are well present but pleasantly soft and ripe. A great wine for a meat dinner. To be enjoyed, in moderation, throughout a meal.
