"Merago" Marche IGT Rosso 2015

Marche Rosso, this IGT proposed by Casalfarneto is a full-bodied wine, characterised by intense aromas of wild berries, black cherry and ripe red fruits. 100% Montepulciano grapes, in the glass it has a beautiful impenetrable red colour. A wine certainly with a strong personality, at the table it goes well with savoury red meat dishes and even game. Excellent, however, also as a nightcap at the end of the evening, to treat oneself to a moment of relaxation. Vinification is long and complex and begins with a long maceration of the skins to favour the complete extraction of aromatic substances and colour. Then, at the end of vinification, the wine is put into large oak barrels, where it matures slowly for about a year. It is then bottled and, before being put on the market, rests for at least another 18-24 months in the bottle. A long wait which, however, we can guarantee, will be amply repaid from the very first sip. Truly a fine wine!
