Like all the wines of Cantina Nicosia's Bio Vegan line, this sparkling Grillo has a double certification: Organic and BIO VEGAN. On the label it is indicated as an IGT Terre Siciliane. In the glass it has a fresh and lively appearance. A pleasantly mellow wine, produced with organic grapes, ideal as an aperitif. But you only have to taste it to discover that this Sicilian Grillo can also be a fantastic companion for vegetarian dishes and more generally with Mediterranean cuisine. Harvesting is by hand in boxes and takes place in September. The vinification of the base wines takes place in stainless steel tanks. Then it goes into autoclave where a second fermentation takes place, giving the wine its delicate perlage. Straw yellow with greenish reflections, the nose is fresh and citrusy, with notes of white flowers and herbs. On the palate, however, it is pleasantly dry, harmonious, endowed with a distinct sapidity and great freshness.
