It captivates at first glance with its antique pink colour and charms with a perfect harmony of freshness, elegance and depth. We are talking about Alma Assemblage 1 Rosé, the result of the tradition of Bellavista and its team of oenologists. Assemblage 1 Rosé is a blend of 60% Chardonnay and the remainder Pinot Noir. High-quality grapes from 26 selected vineyards whose vines have an average age of around 28 years. As is customary for the winery, the grapes are harvested by hand. The grapes are collected in small 13 kg crates to preserve their integrity and, once in the winery, are immediately processed. Only the free-run juice, obtained from the first pressing, is used for this cuvée. Part of the wine, about 23%, is aged in oak barriques, adding complexity and depth. After the cuvée is created, the wine rests on the lees for 30 months, acquiring a fine and persistent perlage. In the glass, it has a bright and luminous antique pink colour. The perlage is fine and refined, anticipating a creamy texture. The nose immediately reveals elegant aromas of orange blossom and candied citrus fruits. On the palate, it is fresh and fragrant, with a perfect balance between acidity and minerality. The finish is long and crystalline. Assemblage 1 Rosé is perfect with seafood appetisers, but also with sushi or delicate first courses such as risottos. Finally, it is also perfect with fresh and goat's cheeses.

The house style is impeccable and all the wines have a recognisable character. Since 2024, this has been guaranteed by none other than the internationally renowned oenologist Richard Geoffroy, who was the creative mind behind Maison Dom Pérignon for over 20 years. At Bellavista, Geoffroy will take on the delicate task of mentoring Francesca Moretti, who leads her technical team.
