The Langhe, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, are famous throughout the world for their landscapes lined with endless vineyards and for their great age-worthy red wines. To truly understand the most authentic and artisanal soul of this territory, however, one must leave the main roads and climb towards Monforte d’Alba, specifically to the hamlet of Perno. This is where the heart of the Diego Pressenda estate beats. Everything began in the mid-1970s, when Diego Pressenda and his wife Silvia, driven by a profound love for their land, decided to invest their future among these hills. It was a courageous choice, built on hard manual work and old-fashioned dedication. Over the years, that initial dream grew into a successful family-run estate. Today the next generation has joined the business: Francesca, Beatrice and Alessandro work alongside their parents, bringing fresh and dynamic energy. In this small wine “atelier”, every bottle is the result of a pact of honour between man and nature. Diego Pressenda’s philosophy is based on deep respect for the land and sustainable vineyard management.
