Italian cradle of Merlot, Veneto is the land of origin of this pleasant wine proposed by Tinazzi. 100% Merlot, coming from different plots located in the area of the Tre Venezie, this red is the right wine for more than one occasion. Vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats and aged - again in inert tanks - before bottling, this Veneto red wine belongs to the new Bio line of the Veronese company, since it is produced according to the strict standards imposed by European organic certification. In the glass it has a beautiful, lively and deep ruby red colour. The nose is reminiscent of fresh fruit, especially berries such as blackberries and raspberries, to which are added slight spicy notes reminiscent of green pepper. In the mouth, then, you discover a pleasantly fresh and harmonious wine. A red wine with a good persistence that requires a strong combination. Cheese, of course, but also pasta dishes with sauce, such as spaghetti with meat sauce, or even vegetable soups. It is hard not to be pleasantly impressed.
Nomen omen', said the ancient Romans. And this saying applies perfectly to the Tinazzi family since, in Veronese tradition, this term was used to indicate the containers in which the grapes were left to ferment to make wine. The history of this beautiful family business began in the 1960s. We are on the shores of Lake Garda. Here, in Cavaion Veronese to be precise, Eugenio Tinazzi founded his small winery to produce and sell the wines of the area. With the arrival in the company of his son Gian Andrea, still very young, Tinazzi began a tumultuous path of growth that led the small Veneto-based company first to expand into the main areas of Valpolicella, and then to take the leap and buy new estates in Puglia. Today, Francesca and Giorgio, the third generation, have joined Gian Andrea in the family business. There are still many goals to be achieved and markets to be conquered.
