    "Muso Rosso" Rosato IGP
  • With its soft pink colour with purple highlights, this Muso Rosso Rosato di Tagaro is a fantastic hors d'oeuvre wine. But not only. Thanks to its pleasant complexity, in fact, it is able to accompany with satisfaction also tasty dishes, in particular fish soups and brodettos. Produced with pure Susumaniello grapes from the Itria Valley, this rosé is the result of a partial racking of the must after a few hours of maceration. The fermentation, in white, at a controlled temperature, then takes place in steel, as does the subsequent period of refinement before being bottled. This rosé has intense and persistent aromas, with notes of ripe red berries. The finish is pleasantly long and prolongs the pleasure of each sip for several seconds.

There are corners of Italy that should be visited at least once in a lifetime. Among these, in our very personal classification, we include the Itria Valley, the heart of the most authentic Apulia, where the hills are home to vineyards, often ancient, that grow cradled by a mild climate and under a warm and generous sun. Here, on a plateau about 450 metres above sea level, is Masseria Tagaro. Its approximately 40 hectares of vineyards are home to the best-known indigenous grape varieties of reason, which are proudly enhanced and offered in different lines. Traditions and cutting-edge technologies coexist in the ancient masseria to give life, year after year, to authentic wines, respecting the memory of three generations of winegrowers.
