Talò is more than just a wine. It is Cantina San Marzano's thanks to the many farmers who bring in their grapes and who, with their families, look after each vineyard as if it were a garden. Talò, to be more precise, is a beautiful red wine from the territory, the result of the pure processing of a varietal, Negramaro, which more than any other can represent the best of Apulia. Salento IGP, Talò is aged in barriques. Purple-red in colour with violet reflections, Talò in the glass reveals an intense and persistent bouquet, with hints of blackcurrants and berries. A pleasant spiciness, balsamic and vanilla notes. In the mouth, however, you discover from the first taste a full-bodied wine, velvety and harmonious, with a long and savoury finish. Like all Apulian wines with character, Talò Negramaro demands an important pairing with robust first courses, red meats or cheeses.
