Domaine de la Chevalerie

We are in the heart of the Loire Valley, on gentle slopes kissed by the sun. Here lies Domaine de la Chevalerie, the kingdom of Cabernet Franc. The winery is located in Bourgueil, an area renowned precisely for the production of elegant and complex red wines. That of Chevalerie is a long family history, which began over 400 years ago. Today, Emmanuel Caslot carries on the Domain tradition with dedication and expertise, following the sudden death of his young sister Stéphanie in 2021. The principles of sustainable agriculture are applied in the vineyard, with the utmost respect for the environment. Low yields and manual harvesting guarantee grapes of the highest quality. In the cellar, vinification takes place naturally, with spontaneous fermentation and ageing in wood. In addition to Cabernet Franc, the estate also produces the typical fresh and mineral Sauvignon Blanc.
