This Franciacorta DOCG Brut Essence Rosé can only be described as "refined". A product of the 2016 vintage, this rosé amazes for the delicacy of its colour, a soft pink, and for the finesse of its aromas that recall undergrowth and fruit compote. All this is made more elegant and complex by a long stay on the lees, over 36 months, and by a simply perfect processing. In this case, the starting cuvée is composed of 60% Pinot Noir grapes to which a generous portion of Chardonnay is added. This blend, with the Pinot Noir vinified in pink, gives the finished wine great body, structure and above all an elegant vinosity. In the glass, the wine's reflections tend towards salmon, while the fine and persistent perlage creates an abundant and creamy mousse on the surface. The nose is intense, with hints of small red fruits. In the mouth it is fragrant and intense, with great balance and excellent persistence. A sparkling wine capable of giving great satisfaction to anyone who tastes it. An excellent wine for the whole meal, it does justice at the same time to great cold meats and cheeses, but also to refined sushi.
