Falanghina Puglia IGT 2021

Falanghina IGT Puglia is the white and organic wine proposed here by Antica Enotria. It comes from a pure processing of Falanghina grapes, harvested in the farm vineyards surrounding the masseria. After the harvest, the grapes are taken to the cellar to be immediately crushed and destemmed. Then the must is macerated at a temperature of 20 degrees for about 4 hours with the skins and seeds. Following a soft pressing, the must ferments at a controlled temperature in steel tanks, where it also matures for the next 5 months, in contact with its own noble lees. In the glass it is distinguished by its intense straw yellow colour with golden reflections. The nose reveals fresh aromas, with mineral veins that precede clear sensations of pineapple and banana. In the mouth, however, it is full and pleasantly savoury, with a gentle taste that is simply irresistible. An "addictive" wine, it is perfect as an aperitif, but also goes very well with hors d'oeuvres, fish dishes, white meats and cheeses.
