We are in the famous Maipo Valley, one of the Chilean regions best known for the quality of its wines. To be exact, we are at the foot of the highest mountains in South America, the Andes, which offer both shelter from the coldest currents and the scenery of beautiful mountain vineyards, the highest in the world. Here, in 1874, a certain Don Francisco de Rojas y Salamanca founded his winery. At the time it was called Viña de Rojas. Over the years, the winery went through various vicissitudes, changing hands without ever ceasing to grow and produce good wines, appreciated both locally and abroad.
