It is rightly considered the prince of aromatic grape varieties. Gewürztraminer is a grape that loves cold climates, but needs sun and warmth to reach the right maturity at harvest time. For this reason, in Trentino it is usually cultivated in the lower areas of the hills, where it can enjoy good temperature ranges between day and night and where constant ventilation ensures its health. In Concilio, then, the grapes are harvested and processed with care. It is fermented in steel, apart from a small part that ends up directly in French wood barriques, to give the final wine greater complexity. The result? A very enjoyable wine characterized by an intense yellow colour reminiscent of gold. On the nose, a bouquet of intense and broad scents, ranging from muscat rose to tropical fruit, from sweet spice to freshly cut hay. Finally, the same richness and breadth can be found in the mouth. It is harmonious, balanced and extremely long in terms of aromatic persistence.
