Sassobraglia is a small Piedmontese farm, run with passion by its owner, Fabio Cogo. It is located in Val Borbera, in the Alessandria Apennines, in the southern part of the region, almost on the border with Liguria. This is a very special land because, although it is located inland, it enjoys a mild climate due to the presence of the sea not too far away as the crow flies. This is where Timorasso finds one of its best territories. It is used to produce white wines with a strong character and a proverbial ability to age in the bottle. The Sassobraglia winery owes its name to the planting of the vineyard on particularly stony soil. Vineyards cultivated with great care that extend for about 3 hectares. Located between 450 and 750 metres above sea level, they allow the small Piedmontese company to boast a limited but high quality production.
